The Archiepiscopal Chateau Library in Kroměříž, founded in 1694 by Bishop Karl II of Lichtenstein-Castelkorn, is one of the most significant historical libraries in Czechia and part of the UNESCO-listed Kroměříž Chateau complex. Originally intended as the central library of the Olomouc Bishopric, it houses over 33,000 volumes. The library includes valuable manuscripts, incunabula, and early prints with a strong focus on religious and encyclopedic literature.
